My why
Hi! I’m Abby.
I was in high school when my grandmother was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease. Watching the decline of her body and brain through my college years was heartbreaking; not to mention seeing the strain it put on my parents, aunts, and uncles.
As I was becoming an adult, I wanted to learn everything I could to prevent developing this condition so that my children will not have to go through it with me someday. A few years later, I was diagnosed with a uterine fibroid which lead me to getting even more serious about my health and lifestyle choices.
In 2019, I found great resources: Max Lugavere’s books & podcast The Genius Life, Dr. Mark Hyman’s podcast The Doctor’s Farmacy, Bethany Ugarte’s instagram @lilsipper, and I had been following Juli Bauer Roth of @paleomg since 2014. These sources shaped my eating and exercise habits and I have seen and felt amazing (slow, gradual sustainable) changes.
In 2021, I completed 75 Hard by Andy Frisella and it changed my life. I read more, exercised and walked daily, while sticking to my eating habits I found Lily Nichols’ work and got pregnant in 2023. I completed 75 Hard a second time in fall os 2024 at 6 months postpartum and am currently in the LiveHard program. (You can read more about 75 Hard and Live Hard here).
My experience
My family didn’t cook much and went out for meals a lot growing up. I am a self-taught cook - and it doesn’t need to be complicated! Cooking at home more will reduce your risks for chronic disease immeasurably if you cook with the right, quality ingredients and plan ahead.
I cook/eat mostly paleo-ish and whole, real foods focused. This means most of my recipes are naturally gluten free and always nutrient-dense and high protein.
I am fortunate to have had an incredible support system and access to educational materials throughout my life. Eating well can still cost the same or less than going out, even in this economy and with inflation and tariffs. Join me to save our hard-earned money and plan meals that nourish our family’s and our own bodies.
My hope for you
As a former 7th&8th grade Science teacher turned stay at home mom, I’ve had to learn how to plan and manage multiple deadlines, schedules, and needs of people over the years. I’ve also had to learn to prioritize my own health.
I created full & fulfilled life because I’d love to share my gained knowledge and systems I’ve created so they can help you too!
Maybe you just want to be more active or eat a little healthier. Or, maybe you’re looking for a more dramatic change.
I would love to help!
Let’s be the kind of people, partners, and parents we’re meant to be. Plan and set yourself up for success today.
Thank you for being here :)
